The same oak, cut to leave the knots, shakes and sapwood in rather than selecting them out. Every board is different, which is the point of asking for it. £10, posted free and refunded against your order. We post free within the UK, and to Europe on request — email sales@brynhall.co.uk.
Oak chosen for figure, colour and movement rather than evenness — knots, shakes and a good deal of life in the grain. Sent as a finished, polished offcut so you can see the colour in your own room. The £10 comes off your order if you commission a piece.
