A fitted wardrobe is a building job. A freestanding wardrobe is furniture, and it comes with you when you move.
Ours are made to order in solid oak, cherry, mahogany or walnut, in the width and height the room will take, with hanging, shelving and drawers arranged as you actually use them rather than to a standard formula. A brakefront wardrobe steps its centre section forward, which breaks up a large front and makes a big piece look considered rather than merely big.
The practical points are worth settling early: the ceiling height and whether the piece can be got up the stairs (ours come apart), how much long hanging you need against short, and whether drawers are better inside the wardrobe or in a separate chest. Tell us how the room is used and we will draw it before anything is cut.
Delivery and fitting are quoted separately, because every house, staircase and room is different.
