Every Bryn Hall piece is made to order in Suffolk: your size, your timber, your colour. The catalogue gives you a starting point; the workshop turns it into the right piece for the room.
Why choose made-to-order furniture?
A catalogue design is useful because its proportions and construction are understood. It is not a restriction. Change the width to fit an alcove, the height beneath a window, the timber to sit beside an antique, or the finish to work with the room.
Three ways to commission
- A catalogue piece, made to your size. A familiar design adjusted to the dimensions, timber, finish and details you need.
- A one-off commission. A piece drawn from scratch around an idea, a collection of objects or a difficult space.
- A complete scheme. Freestanding furniture coordinated with fitted cabinetry, panelling or a library.
The process
Tell us what you have in mind, send rough dimensions and photographs, and we will come back with the practical questions. We quote against an agreed specification, prepare a drawing where it is useful, and make the piece in our Suffolk workshop once you approve it.

Fitted and contemporary work

Standard designs normally take twelve weeks, and up to sixteen when the workshop is busy. A genuine one-off usually adds around four weeks. We will tell you honestly whether a fixed date is realistic.
