South Wales 5-drawer potboard base

Five drawer potboard base 904, front view — handmade by Bryn Hall in Suffolk

A potboard dresser base has an open shelf low between the legs instead of cupboards. Drawers run across the top under a solid working surface; below them the piece is open, and near the floor a boarded shelf spans from leg to leg.

Standard size: 149 × 43 × 84 cm (58¾″ × 17″ × 33″).

Choose a standard size, or any other width in 100 mm steps made to measure. The price updates as you choose.

Description

The standard sizes are the ones we make most often. Any other width is priced from the nearest standard size below it, in 100 mm steps, with 5% added because it is drawn and made to measure. Depth and height can be altered too; ask and we will price it.

Normally twelve weeks from approved drawings to delivery, and up to sixteen when the workshop is busy. Every piece is drawn before it is made, and nothing is cut until you have approved the drawing.

Timber and finish samples are £10 each, refunded against your order. The price includes our standard hand-applied polished finish.
