Bureau 902 — handmade by Bryn Hall in Suffolk

A bureau is a writing desk that shuts. A sloping front hinged at its lower edge falls forward to become the writing surface, revealing a fitted interior of pigeonholes and small drawers.

Standard size: 89 × 51 × 102 cm (35″ × 20″ × 40¼″).

Choose a standard size, or any other width in 100 mm steps made to measure. The price updates as you choose.

Description

The standard sizes are the ones we make most often. Any other width is priced from the nearest standard size below it, in 100 mm steps, with 5% added because it is drawn and made to measure. Depth and height can be altered too; ask and we will price it.

Normally twelve weeks from approved drawings to delivery, and up to sixteen when the workshop is busy. Every piece is drawn before it is made, and nothing is cut until you have approved the drawing.

Timber and finish samples are £10 each, refunded against your order. The price includes our standard hand-applied polished finish.
