This is the full range of what we make. Not a stock list — a starting point. Every piece is built from scratch in our workshop at Mickfield in Suffolk, to your dimensions, in your timber, in your colour.
Reeve & Co made every piece of Bryn Hall furniture for thirty years. The Phillips family have retired, and the workshop that always made it now carries the name. Nothing about the furniture has changed, except that you can now commission it directly from the people at the bench.

Dining tables
The work we are best known for. Start at the dining tables hub for sizing guidance, or go straight to a form.
- Refectory tables — planked tops, square-cut baluster and bandsaw bases, drawleaf and fixed
- Farmhouse tables — tapered or turned legs, drawers, round and oval variants
- Drawleaf tables — leaves stored under the top, drawn out level in seconds
- Gateleg tables — double, single and turned-leg
- Monks’ tables — the settle-table form, and the round cross-stretcher version
- Cricket tables — three legs, for floors that are not flat
- Pedestal and extending tables — single, double and four-column, Sussex and Victorian
Chairs and seating
Windsor and ladder back, panel back and Cromwellian, carvers in every pattern, and the settles and stools that go with a long table. Seats can be wooden, rushed, drop-in, wrap-around or fully upholstered, in your own fabric or in leather we supply.

Dressers

Sideboards, servers and side tables

Television and media
Stands, corner units and cabinets with up-and-over doors, plus rise-and-fall TV lift cabinets — solid timber cases with the screen concealed until it is wanted. See TV cabinets.
Timbers, finishes and sizes
Every catalogue piece is made in oak, cherry, mahogany or walnut as standard. Specials, quoted on application, include character oak, pippy oak in light, medium and heavy grades for tops, oak selected for its medullary ray, and clean timber with no knots at all. Ash is used for Windsor chair frames.
Finishes run from polished and painted to limed, sand-blasted, rub-through paint and natural. We also colour match to a sample you send us — we can match furniture that is 100 years old to new reproduction purchases made the year before.
Sizes are yours to set. A few millimetres to fit an alcove, or a table two feet longer than the drawing: the piece is being made for you either way.
Order free timber and finish samples before you decide anything. They arrive by post and settle most questions no photograph can.
Prices and lead times
There is no price list on this site because there is no stock. Tell us the piece, the size, the timber and the finish, and we will give you a guide price. Standard lead time is typically ten to twelve weeks; a one-off commission usually adds about four weeks. See commissioning and bespoke.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy anything on this site off the shelf?
No. Every piece is made from scratch once you order it, which is why sizes, timbers, finishes and details are all open to you. If you need something by a date, tell us and we will say whether we can meet it.
Do you make contemporary furniture as well as period pieces?
Yes. The same construction, timber and finishing shop apply to a clean modern piece as to a seventeenth-century form. See contemporary furniture.
Can you match furniture I already own?
One of the things we do best. Send photographs and, if possible, a sample of the finish. See matching antique furniture.
Do you make fitted furniture too?
Yes — bookcases, panelling, wardrobes and whole rooms, made in the same workshop. See fitted furniture. For whole-house joinery, our sister company Reeve & Co Interiors handles the work.
