Four door dresser and rack 209, front view — handmade by Bryn Hall in Suffolk

Request the Catalogue

Request the Bryn Hall furniture catalogue. Ten ranges, tables, dressers, chairs, beds and desks, all made to order in our Suffolk workshop. No obligation.

The catalogue shows what we make: the ranges, the forms, the details and the pieces that clients most often start from. It is a PDF, and we will email it to you.

What is in it

The named ranges, each a consistent set of design decisions carried across a group of pieces. Denbigh, Oakamoor, Pendleton, Ruthin, Montgomeryshire, Rowton, Windrush, Gothic, Coach House and Georgian, with the other patterns alongside them.

The furniture itself: refectory and farmhouse tables, gateleg and drawleaf tables, Windsor and ladder back chairs, settles, dressers and racks, potboard bases, sideboards and servers, corner cupboards, drinks cabinets, chests of drawers, four poster and half tester beds, wardrobes, pedestal desks, bureaux, bookcases and TV lift cabinets.

The construction detail that separates one range from another: raised and fielded panels, cock beading, thumbnail profiles, moulded plinths, exposed butt hinges, swan neck handles.

What it is not

It is not a price list you can order from, and it is not a stock list. Nothing here is a stock item.

Every piece is made from scratch, to your dimensions, in your timber, in your colour. The catalogue is a starting point rather than a menu, and most clients change something: an inch off the width, a different moulding, a different shade to sit beside a piece they already own.

So use it to find the form and the character you want. The specification is settled afterwards, in conversation, and priced against what you actually decide.

Request a copy

The catalogue is a PDF. There is no printed edition, so your email address is all we need.

The form should capture the following fields.

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • The piece or range you are interested in — free text, optional

We send the PDF by email. We do not need a postal address for it, though we will ask for one if you go on to order samples, which do come by post.

Order samples at the same time

The catalogue will show you the shapes. It will not show you the colours, because timber photographs badly and a screen is worse.

Two timber and finish samples are free and posted out with no obligation. Oak, cherry, mahogany and walnut are the four standard timbers, with character oak and pippy oak alongside them. Most people find it far easier to choose with both in front of them, the catalogue on the table and the samples on the floor.

What happens next

We send what you have asked for. Nobody telephones you the following morning.

When you are ready, tell us the piece, the timber, the finish and roughly the size, and we will quote against a proper specification. Read how commissioning works for what follows: samples, drawings where a drawing is needed, quotation, making, finishing and delivery.

Standard designs typically take ten to twelve weeks. A genuine one-off usually adds around four weeks.

We keep your details only to send the catalogue and to answer any enquiry that follows. See our privacy notice.
